Turning off the Taps

Water is Liquid Gold

We know this when we run out. Washing dishes full-blast and walking away to wipe a countertop in some drained parts of the world must seem the very essence of American decadence and disregard.

Simple changes like leaving the watering can next to the bathroom sink or shower when waiting for wash water to heat, installing a low-flow shower head and toilet, and installing drip irrigation outside can maximize and reduce water usage.
